Many of you will remember the Kaspersky Antivirus 6 months promo by MSN some time back. It seems the offer is still alive or may be returned back. Thanks to Ashwin for reminding me that.. You can grab and download Free Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 license key for 6 months again if you have a msn or hotmail or a live email addressd.
As the procedure is same except a minor change, I am just copying and posting it from previous article.
” Although this offer is just for Chinese guys, you can still download free Kaspersky Antivirus. I was able to grab it from here in India without using any proxy. You can try without any proxy, but if you get errors try accessing the promo page using any Chinese proxy.
To grab your license and download free Kaspersky Antivirus
1. Visit this promopage. You will see something like the screenshot below.
2. After you click that button, you need to sign in using your MSN or hotmail ID. Thats it. When you sign in, It will email license key for Kaspersky Antivirus to your hotmail address which you used to sign in.
For those of you, who may be a bit worried about signing in using your MSN ID on some unknown chinese page, you can just login on normal hotmail or MSN or Live page and after that go t promo page. You wont be needed to sign in there.

It worked perfectly for me. I downloaded the chinese version and installed it.
Restarted my PC and disabled Self-defense and closed Kaspersky AV.
Then I used regedit to change the language to English and started Kaspersky AV.
I opened regedit and went through the sub-directories one by one in the following order.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREKasperskyLabprotectedAVP9Environment
On the right tab there was “Localization”, it said sch, I changed it to en.
Restarted KAV. It was in english now. I re-enabled self defense and updated the database.
